EU–Pakistan Business Network Engagement in Karachi

Gulf Business Consulting (GBC) participated in the EU–Pakistan Business Network outreach event in Karachi, accompanying Mr. Christian Garma from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Dubai, responsible for the Pakistani market.

The event brought together European representatives, Pakistani business leaders and institutional stakeholders to explore opportunities for stronger trade, investment and economic cooperation.

Strengthening EU–Pakistan Economic Ties

The European Union remains a key trading partner for Pakistan, receiving almost 30% of the country's exports. The EU's GSP+ scheme has played an important role in facilitating preferential market access for Pakistani products, particularly textiles and clothing.

The outreach programme included engagements with the Pakistan Business Council and Pakistan Textile Council, focusing on export competitiveness, investment opportunities, market access and stronger business partnerships.
